In this case, with a great deal of confidence, we can say that our course «Mathematics Grade 4» will be enough for him to get a decent level for admission and then study in the 5th grade of the Physics and Mathematics Lyceum. But in each case it is necessary to approach it individually, for some children it is psychologically easier to write an introductory work if they have practiced and know what they can do. And others quite calmly go to the exam, even having no idea what tasks will be there.
2nd option. The child studied mathematics additionally and will continue these studies during the 4th grade. In this case, whether our course in the advanced program «Mathematics Grade 4» is needed, or the course «Preparation for admission.
Mathematics» is enough to train the performance of introductory work, only parents can decide, knowing the level and content of the program for which they are engaged child.
3rd option . The child has not done anything systematically before, but is successful in mathematics lessons, writes the Kangaroo Olympiad well at school, and the parents decide to prepare for admission. Then we recommend studying with us on two courses — and «Mathematics Grade 4» , and «Preparation for admission. Mathematics». The programs of these courses are different and complement each other.
«Mathematics Grade 4» is an in-depth study of mathematics grade 4 A.V. Gretskaya. It includes all the basic knowledge and skills that are necessary to prepare for admission and study in 5 classes of physical and mathematical lyceums and gymnasiums.

Without studying in parallel on the course «Mathematics Grade 4», without having a sufficient set of basic knowledge of the reinforced program of mathematics in Grade 4, it will be very difficult for a child.
Thus, in 1 year, a capable child masters the entire in-depth elementary school mathematics program and repeatedly solves problems similar to those encountered in the introductory papers. When taking classes in each of the courses once a week, doing homework, the child receives 4 math lessons per week. The load is large, but for the future student of the physics and mathematics lyceum it is feasible. In our Center, such children study, by the end of the 4th grade they master the program of A.V. Gretskaya and successfully write training papers.
To prepare for the second stage of entrance examinations, we also have two courses:
— course «Learning to write essays» provides a fundamental approach to the study of literature based on classical works — from epic and myths through folk tale to storytelling.
This course will teach you to analyze a literary work, write a summary, an essay and a review. Along with the study of literature, a lot of time is devoted to linguistic tasks that are encountered in introductory papers to classical gymnasiums.
— course «Preparation for admission to grade 5. Russian language» will help the student repeat all the spelling and punctuation of the elementary school curriculum, teach you to determine the theme and idea of a literary work and write a short essay on the proposed text, presenting your thoughts consistently and reasonably. Of course, everyone needs this, but for those who want to enter lyceums and gymnasiums, it is simply necessary, because the task of understanding the proposed text, answering questions about the text and presentation, or an essay is in the introductory works of all these schools.
