      Navigate to constructor > pages .

    2. You can choose how the border will look.

    3. To set the distance between the border and the page border, select Parameters . Make changes and on the tape OK.

    4. Press button OK .

    If the page on which you want to add a border is in the middle of the document, you must first add section breaks.

    1. Navigate to Designer > Pages .

    2. In window Borders and shading , select border options.

      • Under Type on the left, select the desired border style.

        If you want to remove the border, select No .

      • In the Style area , select the desired line style.

      • Select the arrow in the Color area and select a color for the border.

      • Select the arrow in Width and select the desired width.

      Tip: If you want a picture border, click the arrow under Picture, to select a picture border.

    3. Then select the arrow to the right of area Apply to and select This section is first page only .

      (This option also works if you add a border to the first page in a document. )

    4. Preview field confirms border styles. To remove the border from one side, select it in field View.

      Tip: To change where the border appears on the page, select Options and adjust the margin settings.

      When finished, select OK.

    Word for the web doesn’t give you the ability to change, remove, or add new borders to text.

    If you add borders around text in a document created with Word for the desktop, Word for the web will keep them.

    As a multi-solution, you can insert a table that contains only one cell, and then insert or enter text into it.
