From December 1 to December 12, a week of mathematics was held at our school

Mathematics Week motto:

«Mathematics is the language spoken by all exact sciences» (N. I. Lobachevsky)

Statements of great mathematicians and mathematical projects were posted on the 1st floor of the school. The students of the school got acquainted with these materials with pleasure, solved puzzles and crossword puzzles, entertaining tasks, tasks for attention and ingenuity.

On December 1, the opening of Mathematics Week took place. The Pathfinders quiz took place from grades 5-11. 1st place — Tatiana Bitkina, 9th grade student, 2nd place — Angelina Tomilova, 11th grade student and 3rd place were shared by Tatiana Osipova and Marina Chernitsova, 9th grade students.

On December 2, an interesting event «The Holiday of Numbers» was held in the 6th grade. The guys came up with the name of the team, got acquainted with the statements of great people about mathematics, performed interesting, fun mathematical tasks.

On December 4, lessons were passed without homework. The children really enjoyed it.

On December 7, in the seventh grade, the event «The Entertaining World of Tasks» was held. The students of the class enjoyed solving mathematical problems, guessing rebuses, mathematical puzzles. All students in the class were very active in all tasks.

On December 12, an event was held for grades 8-11 «Mathematical Mosaic». The game was built on the principle of the television quiz «Own game «. 2 teams participated in the game. The players themselves chose the topic and the number of points. The team was given one minute to think about the question. In the event that a participant in the game does not answer the question, the right to answer passes to the other team. The teacher of mathematics set the task of instilling interest in the subject through competition, developing attention, ingenuity, resourcefulness, thinking, observation, developing the ability to work in a team, fostering a friendly attitude towards each other.
