Therefore, we ask you to follow some rules that will help make attending kindergarten a pleasant experience for your child.

    GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

*** Do not forget that there is a monthly payment for the maintenance of a child in kindergarten in a preschool institution. We ask you to pay the receipt on time, , by the 20th day of of each month, according to the contract.

    Read about payment here

*** In our preschool institution, it is customary to treat each other politely , therefore, regardless of their age, it is necessary to address the teachers of the group with you, by name and patronymic, and teach this to your children.

Their «aunts» do not work in our kindergarten!

*** Reception of children is carried out from 7. 30 to 8.45 daily, except weekends and holidays.

Timely arrival in kindergarten is a necessary condition for the correct organization of the educational process.

*** If you bring your child after the start of any regimen or activity, please undress him and wait with him in the locker room until the next break.

*** In the morning, parents are obliged to hand over the child personally to the teacher , and in the evening, be sure to go to the teacher and say that you are picking up the child from the kindergarten.

*** If you need to bring or pick up a child outside school hours , please notify the teacher in advance. If your child is taken from the kindergarten by relatives or acquaintances, then you must write an application and sign it with the head.

*** If the child is unable to come to the kindergarten due to illness or other good reason, please inform the teacher by 9 am by contact phone, and in case of coming to the kindergarten after illness or vacation — the day before by 12 pm .

*** A child not attending kindergarten for more than 3 days must have a doctor’s note.

Parents, remember! You must bring a healthy child!

An untreated child will not only get sick himself, but will also infect healthy children!

And if «snot» and coughing do not frighten you as a mother, then another mother may have her own opinion, different from yours.

*** Before you take your child to kindergarten, check whether he is dressed correctly , whether his suit corresponds to the season and air temperature. In properly selected clothes, the child moves freely, gets tired less. Make sure that the child’s clothing is not too large and at the same time does not hinder the child’s movements. Pay special attention to shoes . It should be light, warm and fit exactly to the size of the foot. Check buckles and laces. They must be such that the child can use them independently. In the group room it is not allowed to wear shoes without backs (flip-flops).

In the presence of a child one should not discuss preschool teachers with relatives or acquaintances.

    Dear parents!

If you came at 17.20, and you want to take a walk and talk with the teacher, that way until 18.00, try to restrain your desires, since the educators have a working day until 17.30 .

REMEMBER : as soon as you come for the child, the caregiver relieves himself of responsibility for him!

    FAQ — Charitable Center «I Believe in a Miracle»

    Dear friends!

Below we provide you with a list of the most pressing questions that the team of the «I Believe in a Miracle» Charitable Center answers most often. We think you have had these questions more than once, so we hope this list will help dispel all your doubts, or at least some part of them

    How to become a volunteer?

To become a children’s volunteer at the Believe in a Miracle Charitable Center, you need to meet with the volunteer program coordinator at the Open Doors Day (information about him is regularly updated on the website and in official groups of social networks). But if you want to try yourself in another organization, we recommend that you contact the Kaliningrad Youth Volunteer Center, where they will tell you what volunteer vacancies are relevant, and where you can try your hand as a volunteer.

    Where can I bring toys/stuff/clothes?

Unfortunately (or fortunately) at the moment there is no urgent need for things (knitwear, outerwear, shoes) at our Charity Center. The wards of the «Hospital Orphans» program are currently provided with everything necessary in terms of clothing. The most urgent need is home shoes for nursing teens: rubber washable slippers in large sizes (from 37 and above).

Where can you donate clean clothes in good condition?

For example, take it to one of the charitable stores of the Danke-Shop chain Kaliningrad.
Do you want to make unnecessary things useful? Contact the charity store «Danke-Shop» — they know a lot about such transformations. Leave clothes and shoes in special containers located near the Mayak and Grand shopping centers, or bring things directly to the Danke-Shop — specialists will distribute them to charitable organizations, distribute them to those in need or sell them in a store. Profits from the sale will also go to charity. And you will definitely say «thank you».
By the way, the guys donate part of the proceeds from the sale of things to «I Believe in a Miracle».

What items can be donated to I Believe in Miracles?

Toys (new and used) — washable (plastic, wood, metal, etc.), game room stuff, books, small toys for the Chest of Courage (kinders, etc.), board games (new and used in good condition), magazine binders for children and teenagers, stationery. Please note that due to the internal rules of medical institutions, we DO NOT accept any soft toys.

Still have questions? In the Contacts section you will find the most up-to-date methods of communication.

I want to help orphans. Is it possible in your center?

«Participation in the socialization of pupils of boarding schools» is an important program of our center. You can learn more about it and how to become a “volunteer of orphanages” at the Open Day event.

    How can I help financially?

The quickest and most convenient way is to go to the Help Children section of our website and use any way that is convenient for you to help. You can also transfer money to the Administrator in the volunteer, make a donation in special donation boxes with our logo, located in the offices and stores of partner organizations. The addresses of the drawer installation points are available by clicking on the image:

Why «I Believe in a Miracle» raises money for children, because medicine is free?

Very good and correct question! Look for the answer here.

If more money is raised for a child in care than needed, where does the balance go?

All surplus of the donated amount will be assigned exclusively to this child. They will be used for his further treatment and procedures that are not included in the CHI or VMP, as well as for the purchase of life-saving medicines, medical equipment and consumables. Funds are reserved for a specific child until the end of the calendar year. After the child recovers or in the case when he no longer needs financial support, the remaining funds are distributed among other wards of «I Believe in a Miracle».

Why don’t you help all the children in need?

First of all, we want to provide deeper and better expert assistance, to be responsible for each of our actions, and for this we need to be experts in our work. But it is impossible to be experts in everything, so we have specializations within which we build our well-coordinated teamwork, improving it every day.

We help children with the following categories of diseases:

    • genetic
    • oncohematological
    • orphan
    • neurosurgical
    • children in need of palliative care

We take care of children from the moment of hospitalization and ending with two different vectors: rehabilitation after recovery or provision of palliative care when, unfortunately, it is impossible to cure a child.

The work of the targeted assistance service and the Charitable Home Hospice is supported by donations from caring people and organizations. As part of long-term charitable programs, we strive to make the assistance provided the most comprehensive, complete and systemic. Of course, we would like to help all children at once! But our resources (and we are talking not only about material resources) are limited by a lack of time and effort, which is why we have chosen priority areas of activity.

Why do we need employees when volunteers do everything?

Until 2012, I Believe in a Miracle was an exclusively volunteer organization. In 2012, the first employee, an administrator, was hired for official work. But the Charitable Center today and 12 years ago are almost different organizations. We grew and developed together, and today the center is a serious structure, the work of which requires stability and consistency.

Employees do not replace volunteers, the main task is to create an infrastructure and organize management so that volunteers and caring people can provide direct assistance to children. However, we have professional programs that require competencies, skills, knowledge, skills and high professionalism (medical and social nannies, doctors, psychologists, lawyers, etc.).

Who are volunteers? Do volunteers receive any salary or compensation?

Volunteers are not paid. Thus, until 2018, the director of the “I Believe in a Miracle” Charitable Center carried out her work in full, but free of charge. The same goes for volunteer photographers and all volunteers working with children. In our center, we try to compensate the most active volunteers for the cost of telephone communications (if monthly large sums are spent on conversations about the organizational issues of the center) and transport (including gasoline), when trips out of town are coming — to orphanages and sponsored municipal hospitals, as well as seminars and conferences in Russia and abroad (based on opportunities).

Charitable Center «I Believe in a Miracle» has never paid for its advertising. Organizations themselves often offer us cooperation, because among them there are many socially responsible ones. All printing is done within the framework of targeted projects for the allocated subsidies and grants. And, by the way, printing companies often give us a discount in order to print as many materials as possible, telling more interested people about us. Over the past years, I Believe in a Miracle’s constant partners in terms of popularizing the ideas of charity and volunteering have been Media-Lift and First Transport Television, State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Kaliningrad, NTRK Kaskad, Public Television of Russia, First City TV Channel, Western Press Media Group, incl. information portal «Klops», information portals «New Kaliningrad», «Social Kaliningrad», Radio «Baltic Plus» and others.

Who controls the activities of the I Believe in a Miracle Charitable Center? How can I be sure donations are not being stolen?

To do this, there is the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, to which we submit a huge amount of reports every year. In 2015, the «I Believe in a Miracle» Charitable Center also passed a scheduled inspection by this state body. We also created the Board of Trustees, which includes well-known and respected citizens who have achieved success in life and work. By supporting the center, they can guarantee our honesty and decency with their name.

I do not want my name to be on the list of donors in reports. Why do we need surnames and reporting at all?

This makes our activities more transparent. It is important for people who are far from charity to see that real citizens are behind the donations. But if it’s important to you that your name doesn’t appear on our financial statements, we’ll record the donation as anonymous. To do this, please notify us in advance.

Why don’t you let new volunteers into orphanages?

Being a volunteer in orphanages is not easy. We are sure that if you are burning with desire, you will definitely succeed. But for starters, it’s still better to go through special training with more experienced volunteers of our Center, gain experience, knowledge, practice, getting to know the guys first in a company with other more experienced volunteers, and then go to children’s social institutions on your own.

Why don’t we publish on the website the personal phone numbers of the parents of those children in care for whom the collection is announced?

Because this is personal and confidential information, and without the consent and request of the parents, we do not have the right to publish such data. However, in exceptional cases, when a benefactor, in order to transfer a donation, needs to personally talk with the beneficiary, we, with the consent of the parents, give their contacts to a specific person. The same applies to bills and invoices for medical expenses, etc. In addition, this is how we try to prevent cases of fraud related to charitable contributions.
