On the evening of January 7, in the village of Sosnovka near Novosibirsk, teenagers saw an egg box with a baby wrapped in a thin blanket. The shocked schoolchildren tried to catch the car, but no one stopped, then one of them called the parents, who grabbed the first blankets that came to hand and rushed after the child. Now the girl is in the hospital, investigators are looking for her mother in all the villages, and the family that saved the girl wants to adopt her. The story of a baby abandoned in a box has already thundered throughout the country. State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin published a whole post in his Telegram. Abandoned baby he called monsters and wished the girl to find a family.
NGS journalist Anna Bogdanova went to Sosnovka and found out the details of this story.
The box was lying on the turn, closer to the entrance to the Sosnovka Village cottage settlement (on the left in the photo) air outside the city dropped to -20.
This did not stop a group of teenagers from going for a walk — they would later say that they were probably looking for adventure. By a lucky chance, the guys were at the right time in the right place — on the outskirts of the village of Sosnovka, not far from Pashino.
— It was not very dark, about six twenty. We look, the box is somehow incomprehensible. As they got closer, they heard a squeak. Vanka says: “Puppies!” We come closer, open the box, and there the face is visible from the side, we thought that it was some kind of doll. There is a green bottle nearby, — the guys are vying with each other.

When they put their hand into the box, they realized that someone was alive there: the child felt the cold air, so he stirred and became worried.
— Of course, we got scared. It was a shock. The box, we think, was brought 20-30 minutes ago. And most likely, they brought it by car, because if it were on foot, it wouldn’t be so warm there,” one of them says and knowingly adds that “after all, the baby’s skin has not yet formed, it would freeze in any way, because it’s not used to the cold yet.” — The blanket, in which the child was, can hardly be called a blanket at all, more like some kind of lilac rag.
In the first two or three minutes, the friends tried to catch the car, but everyone passed by, they didn’t even slow down. They believe that this is quite understandable and nothing surprising: “Evening, such a crowd, who would stop?”

On the morning of January 7, Anna and Dmitry Litvinov went to the city (Sosnovka is located about 20 kilometers from Novosibirsk).
Anna says that on that day they went to the cathedral, and on the way back they took their son Renat from training. We arrived home in the evening and had dinner. Renat went for a walk with friends, after a while his number was displayed on his father’s phone.
— Shouting «We found the baby!» Me: «What baby?» His friends immediately answered the phone: “A child is like a doll!” Dmitry recalls. — Well, that’s all. My wife and I gathered in three seconds, got into the car and flew there.
Anna admitted that at first for some reason there was no thought that this was a newborn. They thought it was just some kid who got lost. Maybe someone came to visit, got lost behind the club, where the children ride down the hill.

The couple keep repeating that they were, to put it mildly, in shock. They wrapped the box with the baby in blankets and put it on the car seat.
— I was afraid to get the baby — I thought, you never know what state the child is in, whether you can touch him or not. In general, they wrapped the box and rushed, ”Anna explained.
There is a first-aid post in the village, but on the evening of January 7, nothing was working. The nearest hospital is only in Pashino, a few kilometers from Sosnovka. Dmitry says that when he ran into the hospital and explained what the matter was, at first no one understood anything. They did not immediately bring the child in in case the doctors suddenly said that it was not with him here, and they would have to go further, to another hospital.
As soon as the doctors saw the baby, they immediately ran in — they unwrapped her, looked at her, washed her, swaddled her in clean diapers. They said that everything is fine with the child, there are no frostbite.

Investigators opened a criminal case on the fact of attempted murder of a minor. So far, the Investigative Committee has not given any information about the results of the search for the mother, limiting itself to wording that a check is underway.
The day after the discovery, “the whole village was on its ears,” say the residents of Sosnovka. Sellers tell how plainclothes investigators went from house to house, shop, talked with postal workers.
— Our Christina in the tail and mane. Her boyfriend’s family was also tortured,” said one of the villagers. “She’s expecting a girl, but she hasn’t actually given birth yet. We don’t have any more pregnant women.
The store clerk said that they came to search with a dog, and from the turn where they found the child, she led everyone to Sosnovka.

In terms of distance from Novosibirsk, Sosnovka is like a remote area of the city. Several times a day there is a regular bus to Kalinin Square — you can get there in 40 minutes. One turn to the neighboring village of Kubovaya, the second — to the cottage village of Sosnovka Village (they found the child there). The girl was lying in a large cardboard egg box — along with a blanket and a bottle, the investigators immediately took her away.
The idea that all this was no coincidence did not leave the Litvinovs. Anna shared that after everything that happened, different thoughts were overwhelmed. But first of all, about what they saved, they helped, that the boys were pulled there in time.
“To be honest, we were ready right away,” Anna Litvinova says about the adoption of the girl and smiles in response to a question about the name. “If it works, then, of course, we’ll take it. But it must be assumed that there are queues. In general, we were immediately told not to count much. Therefore, we speak so carefully so as not to be disappointed. If yes, yes; if no, no.
The couple bought the necessary things for the girl and gave them to the doctors. Several days have passed, but they still want to take the child, although they understand that many procedures will need to be completed, including courses for adoptive parents.
The family already has three sons — Stas from Dmitry’s first marriage. Renat and younger Daniel, who doesn’t go to school yet.
According to Anna, the sons are not against the desire of their parents to adopt a girl, if possible. Anna is 38 years old and works as an HR manager in a government agency. Dmitry is 42, he is engaged in transportation on heavy trucks
By the way, some villagers said that this whole adoption story is a double-edged sword. After all, there is genetics and it is not clear who the parents of this girl are and what the family can expect. The Litvinovs understand all the risks and say that there are no bad children and a lot depends on upbringing.

— A man and his wife brought a box from the car. I looked into it, I saw a living cyanotic baby. She quickly took the box and took it to a warm room, called 112 and called the children’s intensive care unit. She took out the child, examined it, saw that there were no injuries, and began to gently rub the arms and legs with her hands.
I asked the nurse to bring a clean sheet and blanket, heat it up on the radiator. The nurse warmed up a bottle of milk from a carton. Investigators are now looking for the child’s biological parents. There are several villages near Sosnovka from where the box could have been delivered. According to her, there are no definite statistics on who and how picks up abandoned babies and what punishment a mother receives if she leaves a child in danger.
Last August, a newborn girl was left at a bus stop in the village of Svetlaya Polyana, Bolotninsky District, Novosibirsk Region. A few days later, investigators found her mother, Yulia Shevyakova. It turned out that she already had three children from her husband, who was in prison for a double murder, and she gave birth to a girl from another man.
