General requirements for the design of written work
The work is printed using a computer and a printer on one side of an A4 sheet at one and a half (1.5) intervals. Font type (typeface) — Times New Roman, font size (size) — 14. It is not allowed to use fonts of different typefaces in the work.
Pages have the following margins: left 25 mm, right 10 mm, top and bottom 20 mm. Paragraph indentation is the same throughout the text and is equal to 5 characters.

All structural elements of the work start from a new sheet.
Headings are located in the middle of the page and are indicated in capital letters without quotes and a dot at the end, in bold. Wrapping words in the title is not allowed. Table of contents headings should exactly repeat the headings in the text.
Illustrations used in the text of the work are placed after the first reference to them and are accompanied by the words «Figure», «Table», «Scheme», «Graph», etc. All illustrations are numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals in the order they are mentioned in the text (each type of illustration has its own numbering).
Applications must have thematic headings and be numbered with Arabic numerals. The list of applications is indicated in the table of contents.
All pages of the work, including appendices, are numbered sequentially. The title page is considered the first page; no number is put on it. The serial number is printed at the top of the page, centered.
Bibliographic references in the form of footnotes are drawn up in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008. They are numbered with Arabic numerals within the page, i.e. from each subsequent page, the numbering of footnotes begins with the number «1». It is allowed to number within the structural parts of the work.

List of sources and literature covers all documents used in the performance of written work. It includes bibliographic records of documents drawn up in accordance with the current standards:

Depending on the features and objectives of the work, other sections may be included in the List.

In ancient times, writing materials were used that can be called the precursors of paper: wood, bone, stone, clay, wax, metal, papyrus, parchment, etc.
Signs and drawings made by primitive people – petroglyphs – have been preserved on the rocks and walls of caves since the Stone Age. Pictograms were carved on the bones of dead animals.
With the advent of the first civilizations, writing appeared in the form of hieroglyphs and cuneiform. As materials for writing, stone slabs, wooden tablets were used, and with the birth of metallurgy, metal plates. In Mesopotamia, the Sumerians began to use clay tablets for cuneiform writing, which became very durable after firing.
In ancient Egypt in the III millennium BC. created papyrus , which can be considered the true predecessor of paper.
It was made from a reed plant of the same name growing in the Nile Valley. The lower part of the stem was used, which was freed from the outer layer, the core was cut into thin strips, which were then kept in water. Already softened strips were rolled on a board with a gurney, soaked again, rolled again, and then put back into the water. The translucent fiber layers thus obtained were laid transversely relative to each other, dried under pressure and smoothed with a stone. The resulting sheets were polished with ivory and glued into scrolls.
Papyrus was very light and easy to transport. From ancient Egypt, papyrus was exported in large quantities to the countries of the Mediterranean, remaining until the 5th century AD. one of the main materials for writing. Actively used until the XII century.
The ancient Greek word papyros (Latin papyrus) comes from the ancient Egyptian papu, which means «royal» in translation. Later, the word papyrus entered European languages, denoting paper.
For example, paper in English is the paper, in German it is das papier, in French it is le papier.
In the 2nd century BC. in the Kingdom of Pergamon (Asia Minor), a new writing material was invented, called « parchment «. It was obtained from the skin of young animals treated in a special way: lambs, calves, kids. Compared to papyrus, parchment proved to be a stronger, more durable, and more elastic material. It was easier to write on parchment, the text could be washed off and a new one applied, and on both sides. At the same time, it was difficult to manufacture and expensive material.
For the production of parchment, animal skins were soaked in water, then with the help of knives the remains of meat were removed and soaked again, adding ash. Then the wool was cut off with a special tool. After that, the skins were dried, smoothed, and also rubbed with chalk and polished. The result should have been clean, even and thin skin with a yellowish tint. This material was dyed in the desired color.
